Teresa “Terri” Wofford, MS CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist with over 19 years of experience.  With extensive experience in the area of Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) /Assistive Technology (AT), and Autism, Ms. Wofford loves to see her clients develop functional communication skills.   

Ms. Wofford received a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from East Tennessee State University.   While, attending East Tennessee State University, Ms. Wofford completed a thesis project, which looked at the reliability of a parent questionnaire for determining infant vocalizations.  Ms. Wofford is a Wyoming licensed and American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist.  She is a member of ASHA Special Interest 12-Augmentative Alternative Communication Division and a member of the American Hippotherapy Association.  Ms. Wofford provides professional development in augmentative and alternative communication for practitioners across the state through the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) and clinical supervision for graduate students in the Speech Language Pathology program.  Her professional interests are in applying research-based interventions in the areas of augmentative alternative communication and research related to equine assisted speech therapy interventions.
