Cowboy Connect Tentative Schedule
Friday, August 29th
Cowboy Kickoff Craig Morgan Concert and Pep Rally 7:30pm (Gates open at 6pm)
at Tailgate Park on UW Campus
We're kicking off the new academic year and UW football season with a community event you don't want to miss! The event to be held at Tailgate Park will feature a concert headlined by Craig Morgan, new UW Head Football Coach Craig Bohl, the UW Spirit Squad and so much more! Admission is free for the first 500 incoming first year students. Tickets for family and friends will be available for advanced purchase. Adult tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the gate; student tickets with ID are $10 in advance, $15 on the day of the show. Children under 12 are $8. Tickets will be available at uwyo.edu/finearts starting August 1st.
Cowboy Kickoff is being brought to you by 95.1 Y95 Country, UW Athletics, Residence Life and Dining Services, Student Activities Council, and the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Football game! Wyoming Cowboys vs. Montana 2 pm
Be sure to cheer on the Cowboys with your new classmates! Admission free with a student ID.
Neighborhood Night Games
Participate in a wide variety of fun & games on fraternity mall, such as inflatable slides, obstacle course, yard games, music, swing dancing, volleyball, popcorn and cotton candy.
Outdoor Program Sign Up 5:00-7:00 pm
The Outdoor Program will be offering free hikes, rock climbing and canoeing events. Limited space, first-come first served basis. Sign-up on the landing of Washakie on Saturday night from 5:00-7:00.

Faculty Sneak Peek & Featured Speakers 1:00-4:00pm
All students will meet in the Arts & Sciences Auditorium for an unforgettable presentation by nationally-recognized author and speaker Delatorro McNeal, tips and tales by members of UW faculty, and a hilarious performance by UW’s theatre department.

Following this year’s keynote speaker, students will join together on Prexy’s Pasture to take a class photo!
Schedules and Sundaes 4:30pm
Do you still have questions about where some of your classes are located? Come join us on Prexy’s Pasture after the Class Photo for an ice cream treat and have a student leader walk you around in small groups to find your classes. They may even be able to share some helpful hints and shortcuts to make sure you get to class on time!

Casino Night 9:00pm
Casino Night is an annual event held in the Wyoming Union. At the beginning of each year Friday Night Fever brings in casino games including card games like poker and black jack as well as other casino games like slot machines and roulette. Greek Life deals all night, rooting for the students to win big. Students each start out with the same amount of chips and play throughout the night in hopes of earning more! Chips are exchanged for raffle tickets and at the end of the night prizes are drawn. Typical prizes include a 32” television and a mountain bike. With several great prizes this is an annual event you won’t want to miss out on!

Transfer and Non-Traditional New Student Welcome Lunch 12:00-1:30 pm Free Panda Express and Pita Pit Lunch!
This new student welcome program provides a chance to enjoy a FREE lunch with advisors, staff and other new students from your college, as well as mingle with people from various student and campus organizations at UW. It includes a FREE t-shirt and great door prizes for attendees! Come join the fun…and learn a few new things in the process!
