Dr. Milan Balaz is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry.
The Balaz research group is designing porphyrin-DNA light-harvesting nanoarrays and organic multichromophoric nanoassemblies. These self-assembling structures will be useful for harvesting solar energy in various devices including dye-sensitized solar cells and fluorescent solar concentrators.
