Alyson Hagy wins Devils Kitchen Reading Awards

August 23, 2011 — The editors of the 2011-2012 "Grassroots" literary magazine at Southern Illinois University Carbondale recently announced the winners of the 2011 Devil's Kitchen Reading Awards in Poetry and Prose. The award winners for the 2011 Devil’s Kitchen Literary Festival are Alyson Hagy for prose, and Jerry Williams for poetry.

UW’s Watson on Short List for $50,000 Literary Prize

August 22, 2011 — University of Wyoming Associate Professor Brad Watson is among six finalists for a $50,000 literary prize from St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. The winner will be announced Sept. 17.
