8 questions, 500 words: An interview with nonfiction prof Andy Fitch Associate professor Andy Fitch is the MFA program's newest core faculty member. His published and upcoming volumes of creative nonfiction include Ten Walks/2 Talks, Sixty Morning Walks and Conversations over Stolen Food. Asked what he will miss most about his recent years in New York City and what excites him about coming to Wyoming, Andy says he will really miss the subway, which he considers "the most dignified means of transport." But he's looking forward to interacting with his new students and colleagues in Laramie. "It was the people I met on my campus visit," he says, "that compelled me to take this position." Read More |
