Welcome to the CAC

The Campus Activities Center (CAC) provides students with valuable involvement opportunities. The staff coordinates and advises a variety of student programs such as 7220 EntertainmentSafe Zone, and Summer Programs. They are available to assist or direct any of the 270+ recognized student organizations with programming support, leadership development, and marketing services. The CAC serves as an important source of information for programming and involvement on campus. Be sure to check out the learning outcomes we've established that are attained by attending/participating in events or becoming involved with a student organization on campus.

Safe Zone

Safe Zone Logo

Safe Zone is a program geared towards creating an inclusive environment for the LGBTQIA community. This program allows for introspection and thought on various aspects of the LGBTQIA community via a discussion about tolerance and acceptance. Safe Zone aims to educate individuals on issues related to the LGBTQIA community and through this, provides the tools for participants to become Allies. Safe Zone at the University of Wyoming offers a variety of training sessions that cover topics from inequalities in the everyday lives of LGBTQIA individuals to healthcare issues specific to members of the LGBTQIA communities.
