7220 Entertainment

7220 Entertainment is an organization composed of five different committees that are responsible for bringing amazing events to the University of Wyoming Campus. 7220 Entertainment first picks the artists, acts, and events that they would like to bring to the UW Campus. The organization then plans the logistics of the event to provide the best experience possible to all attendees. With the help of a marketing team, 7220 Entertainment works to promote the upcoming event to students and the Laramie community. Lastly, 7220 Entertainment produces the event and performs all the necessary day of show functions.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Students come to the university focused on learning and excited to obtain a degree. Women and men that join fraternal organizations are successful because they found a home at Wyoming and are building connections among fellow members that will last a lifetime. They grow and develop both inside and outside of the classroom as they find real-life application in their chapter experience. With this new found knowledge and recognizing their role at UW, FSL community members see the importance of giving back with their time, talent, and treasure. With this sense of service, others want to follow and members learn the true power in leading with integrity. That is what the University of Wyoming Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) experience is about.

Student Organizations

An organization composed of and run by students. Aside from this, Student Organizations widely vary in their size, mission, and purpose. A group of people getting together to watch a movie is viewed the same as a group that gets together to clean up Prexy's Pasture. The purpose of recognizing student organizations at the University of Wyoming is to provide an opportunity for students to exercise their right to freely associate for a common purpose. Recognition is the process in which the student organizations become ‘official’ in the eyes of the university by allowing student organizations access to certain privileges and services at the university. Though you may be recognized, you are technically not part of the university.

Studio Wyo

Studio Wyo is a lab environment that Student Technical Services set up so that Student Technicians can get real world experience working in the various roles it takes to put on a concert. Student Technicians book the bands, set up the necessary equipment, and run the concert that is put on. Studio Wyo happens every Thursday night, with the last Thursday of the month being an Open Mic Night. During the Open Mic Night, all students, faculty, staff, and the local community members are welcome to come, sign up, and perform for the audience there.
