2017 John P Ellbogen Summer Faculty Institute: May 22-25

21st Century Teaching

The 2017 John P Ellbogen Summer Faculty Institute was designed for mid to later career faculty (with 12 or more years of experience teaching in a full-time faculty/APL role). The four-day institute afforded faculty the opportunity to reflect on, reframe, and renew their teaching with a group of peers. It brought together teaching faculty and APLs from a variety of disciplines to reconnect with the excitement that originally led them into higher education teaching careers. Participants engaged in structured activities such as book discussions and workshops, as well as deep reflection and peer mentoring to guide them to re-energize and transform their vision for teaching.
