Video of dual-male dance display of Long-tailed Manakins in Monteverde, Costa Rica. In this clip, two definitive-plumaged males (likely 10 years old or older) dance for two green females.  Only the alpha male will mate with one of these two females.  The other female will likely return to copulate with the alpha later the same day or in succeeding days.  These particular males were incredibly successful that year (1998, I think).  For every 2-hour observation session we conducted that season, the alpha copulated at least once.
