Sexual Misconduct & the Duty to Report - Responsible Employee Training

All University employees are responsible for responding to and reporting sexual misconduct. This course provides background information pertaining to laws and definitions of sexual misconduct, outlines every employee's duty to report and provides information on what happens after an incident is reported.

Please note: This training does not replace EORR's Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Training, which is mandatory every 3 years for supervisors and managers.

To access the online training OR register for an in-person training session:

  • Log into WyoWeb and open UW Employee Self Service.
  • From the main menu, select Courses and Conferences Home Page. You can search for the training by the entire title or just by keyword. (Full title is “Sexual Misconduct and the Duty to Report.”)
  • Once the training is found, click on the "Add to Cart" icon.
  • Even though the course is free, you will need to “checkout” in order to view the course.
  • If you've added the online training module, once you have checked out, you can go back to your Courses and Conferences home page to launch the training.

Online Course Troubleshooting Tips

  • Adobe Flash is required to access the online version of this training.
  • Check you are using a Flash enabled browser, such as Mozilla Firefox. 
  • Turn off pop-up blockers. This may be of particular importance for Mac users.
  • Mac users may experience issues in WyoWeb courses and may need to use a PC or attend an in-person session to complete training.
  • If none of these tips solve the issue, please contact IT for further assistance.
