How to Self-Identify in HCM

Step 1:

• Upon accessing the WyoCloud homepage from WyoWeb, navigate to Personal Information using the Navigator bar.

Step 2:

• Once at the Personal Info page, select Personal Details.

• Here you will see your current Name, Demographic and Biographical Information.

• In the Name section you can update your Preferred Name field to change the name displayed throughout many UW systems (including email). Note this should only be changed to a professional preferred name.

• Click the pencil icon to the right of the page to update

Step 3:

• In the Demographic Info section, Highest Education Level and Veteran Status can be changed.

• Use the pencil icon to the right of this section to make changes.

• After making all needed updates to this section, click Submit. Although there is an option to add Comments and Attachments, they are not required.

Step 4:

• The National Identifiers section includes your residency and social security information. These fields can only be updated by Human Resources.

• In the Biographical Section you can self-identify your race and ethnicity information. You may need to click the arrow to the right of the section to expand.

• Click the pencil icon to the right of this section to update.

• In the Disability Info section, information can be added and/or edited. Click the Add button to add.
