Sexual Misconduct Policies

Sexual misconduct can threaten a person's safety, well-being, educational experience and career. The University of Wyoming seeks to achieve an environment that is both free of sexual misconduct and consistent with constitutional protections and personal freedoms.

The Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures sets forth resources available to students, describes prohibited conduct, and establishes procedures for responding to sexual misconduct incidents (including sexual assault, sexual harassment, and other unwelcome sexual behavior).

The Student Code of Conduct outlines definitions, prohibited conduct - including sexual misconduct - and process for investigation and adjudication.

The University of Wyoming has a well defined process for investigating reports of sexual misconduct and procedures for adjudicating cases of sexual misconduct.  Full details on these protocols can be found in the above documents or by contacting the Dean of Students office (for UW students) or the Equal Opportunity Report & Response Office (for UW faculty and staff).
