UW Food Share Pantry

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Currently the UW Food Share Pantry is operating in a curbside delivery model to minimize the number of people in the pantry space.  Further information about this service is outlined in the request form.

Where is the Pantry?

University of Wyoming, Knight Hall, Room 106.

Hours of Operation

Monday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Thursday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Curbside Pick Up Orders

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have arranged curbside pickup for food orders.  Complete the request form and select a time for your order pick up during our hours of operation.  Instructions for pick up provided on the form.  Please bring your WyoOne ID card for pick up.  We are using this as a way to gather information to guide staffing, food inventory and utilization of this resource. No personal identifying information will be shared. This form will be reset each week, with some weeks featuring recipes and additional meal bags.

How to Contribute

This is a UW community effort. For those who are interested in sharing with the UW Food Share Pantry, we welcome your contributions.  You can contribute in two ways:

1) Share any non-perishable food items at one of our drop off locations - in the Wyoming Union across from the Information Desk or outside the Dean of Students Office (Knight Hall Room 128). Contributions (including perishable, refrigerated, and frozen foods) can also be made in the pantry during our hours of operations. These items are needed most:
  • Dry goods (i.e. rice, pasta)
  • Canned goods (i.e. beans, veggies, fruit, soup)
  • Shelf-Stable Produce (i.e. potatoes, apples, bananas)
  • Packaged Snacks (i.e. nuts, trail mix, granola bars)
  • Personal Items (i.e. toilet paper, menstrual products, toiletries)
2) Make a financial contribution anytime through our You Fund Account. The funds raised will help us continue to purchase perishable items, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, eggs, cheese, etc. These fresh foods are essential to our goals of providing healthy food options and nourishing the members of our campus community.

How Else Can I Help?

There are many ways to help support this effort!

  • Organize a food drive to collect donations for the pantry.

  • Use the form to pick up a food order and tell someone about how it works.

  • Bring someone by to see the space during our hours of operation.

  • Pass on this page or the link to the form to your network.

  • Print the poster and hang it in in your physical space.
