The University of Wyoming is an academic community dedicated to scholarship and the holistic development of students. As an academic community, the University has an interest in the safety, welfare, and education of the members of this community and in fostering an environment consistent with the educational mission, purpose, and processes of the University. Welfare Coordinator

Welfare Coordinator
The Dean of Students office has a Welfare Coordinator who meets with students who are struggling with mental health, grief or loss or having a hard time adjusting to life at UW.  Student can also meet with the Welfare Coordinator to discuss having significant academic struggles and discuss any worries they have about a friend or classmate.
Students are welcome to schedule a meeting with the Welfare Coordinator by calling 307.766.3296.  In meetings, the Welfare Coordinator will take the time to get to know you, and your current circumstances. Then, the Welfare Coordinator works with the student to come up with creative solutions and resources on or off campus that can help ensure safety, personal wellness, and academic success. The Welfare Coordinator can also do follow up meetings for accountability and extra support.
