Crystal Ballard, Lead Toddler Room 2 Teacher
With thoughtful consideration for each individual child in her classroom, Crystal implements a curriculum that is consistent with its goals for each child. She believes in the power and importance of play as the basis for developing problem solving, community building and social-emotional skills. Crystal's 13 years of experience provide a strong foundation for her work. Her passion working with children has been strengthened through her continuing education. She holds a B.S. in Child and Family Studies and is completing her Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement while completing coursework for a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. With the belief that each child has their own special needs in the classroom, Crystal is learning how to adapt her teaching style to the needs of each child.
On weekends or during breaks, Crystal can often be found gardening, reading a good book, and playing games with her children at home.
