Toddler Rooms

The totoddlersddler rooms are designed to support the exciting emerging self-confidence, curiosity, and rapid physical and emotional growth of children from 16-30 months old.  The program is full-day, available from 7:30 to 5:30. Staff consists of a lead teacher who has a bachelor's degree in child development or early childhood education and State of Wyoming Infant/Toddler certification, two part time assistant teachers who have associates' degrees or a combination of experience and relevant course work at a university level.  There are also 2-3 teacher aides who assist during transition times.  The children in this room are offered a morning breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

The toddler teachers provide opportunities in the classroom and throughout the school for children to explore with hands-on experiential learning.  Activities include; art, music, science, puzzles, blocks, dramatic play, and both indoor and outdoor opportunities to climb, jump, run and develop their new physical skills.  The children also participate in small field trips around the neighborhood and on campus to help encourage involvement in the community. Parent involvement and communication is encouraged through daily highlight reports, regularly scheduled parent-teacher conferences, and an open invitation to parents to visit and participate in the life of the group.
