Honor a Teacher

Rewarding Dedication

The UW College of Education Development board has established the Honor a Teacher Scholarship fund to provide the opportunity for all of us to recognize those special educators who have inspired our sense of learning, helped us identify our uniqueness and talents, developed the means to reach our potential and served as mentors.

Educating the Future

Gifts given to the Honor a Teacher Scholarship Fund will be used to provide scholarships to incoming UW freshman who are preparing to become the next generation of teacher role models.  Scholarship recipients will be selected, in part, for their expressed commitment to educating future generations.

All gifts of $25 or more will be acknowledged in the College of Education newsletter, The Blackboard.  The College will also award a certificate and the honored teacher with a certificate and an "honored teacher" pin to the recipient.
