Preparing for Effective Leadership

As a part of the Department of Professional Studies: Adult Learning, Leadership, Research, Counseling, and Instructional Technology, Educational Leadership offers courses and degree programs designed to help students learn and apply the leadership skills necessary for effective leadership in today's K-12 schools. In addition to the Educational Leadership programs we also house Educational Research  which offers graduate courses in research methods, statistics, and measurement in support of graduate degree programs across the College of Education. Our programs are guided by our mission to develop effective educational leaders and researchers.

We offer three programs: a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership, a Principal Endorsement Program (for those who have a Master's degree), and an EdD Doctoral Degree.
