Each semester there is an opportunity to apply for admission into the doctoral program. To be considered for admission, a complete application must be filed by the appropriate deadline followed by completing assessment activities as the second part of the admission process. Please see Important Dates
Below is a list of the items to be completed for the application and the address the items should be sent to. No GRE scores are required for our doctoral program

1. A completed department doctoral program application.
2. A letter of intent describing career goals and reasons for pursuing the doctorate degree at the University of Wyoming.

Please print three (3) copies, front and back, of the department reference form. Give one to each of the following a) someone who you are the immediate supervisor of, b) your immediate supervisor, and c) a selected colleague. The department should receive the reference forms directly from the one making the reference.

Submit a current resume.

1. Electronically file an online Graduate School Application. Use the Domestic or International application, whichever is applicable.
2. Pay any applicable admission fees to the Graduate School. The fee is nonrefundable.
3. Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. These must be sent directly from the college or university to the UW Graduate School.
4. International students request that your TOEFL score be submitted directly to the UW Graduate School. A score of 525 or above is required.
