Doctor of Education (EdD)
The faculty of the Educational Leadership programs envision a program of doctoral studies that is aligned with the our vision and beliefs. This program is designed to prepare the graduate for service as an educational leader and for continued growth and learning beyond the completion of the degree requirements. The course content, learning activities, and authentic assessments of the program assure more than just the acquisition of the knowledge and skills needed by an educational leader.
Philosophy of Education (PhD)
The faculty of the Educational Leadership programs offer a Philosophy of Education (PdD) that is designed to prepare students especially for university-level positions. The program prepares graduates in areas such as scholarly academic writing, college teaching, conducting educational research, and diversity in higher education. Students take general coursework across the college and specific cognate courses in educational leadership. Additional courses are customized depending on the students' particular career goals.
