Buss demonstrates 3-D density project to

UW technology educator group

Education associate professor Alan Buss recently demonstrated work creating immersive learning around principles of density to members of UW's Technology and Teaching group.

Group members visited the Shell 3-D Visualization Center to experience the results of Buss's research sabbatical firsthand, trying the technology and manipulating the environment to mimic the differences between water and canola oil molecules as well as what happens to the former when temperature rises to boiling or decreases to freezing.
