Graduate Student Travel

Graduate students who are planning to travel to a conference, whether they are presenting or attending only, must complete the COE Graduate Student Travel application if they are interested in applying for funding support from the Dean's office.

Timelines for application submissions:
Fall - Sept 1 or later
Spring - Jan 1 or later

Complete the upper portion of the application; on the lower portion, collect amounts and authorized signatures from all funding sources. Return the completed application to the College of Education Dean's Office.

Preference for funding from the Dean's office will be given to those who are presenting. If funds are sufficient, support will also be given to those who are attending only. Up to $250 will be awarded only once per semester per student, as long as funding is available, and will be given on a first-come first-serve basis. Decisions about awards for those who are attending only will not be made until after the deadline dates.

After travel is complete, submit original receipts within 30 days to the Dean's office or to your department's office associate for reimbursement.

Also, graduate students who are presenting only may apply to Academic Affairs for additional support of up to $250. Funds are also provided on a first-come first-serve basis.
