Featured Presentation

Family Involvement/Engagement of our Multilingual Families

Location: 026
Target Audience: K-12

Abstract: This presentation is an overview of the steps we, the ESL educators and Bilingual Specialist, took to develop and implement a more robust family involvement/engagement program at Lincoln Elementary School. During this presentation, we will share the family survey we created and its results, how we used the data to construct our family engagement plan, the outcomes of the events themselves, and some cultural perspectives we kept in mind throughout. Our hope is that you, our fellow educator, may take away an idea or two to use for your school’s family involvement/engagement program.
