The College of Education is proud to support students, faculty, staff, and alumni through various award programs.
The College of Education seeks to recognize and honor memorable former faculty. Honorees may include individuals who have had a special impact on students, the College of Education programs, their academic disciplines and/or the public.
The College of Education seeks to recognize and honor alumni who have excelled in the field of education, and/or used their education degrees as a springboard to distinguish themselves in their chosen field.
The late Wyoming business leader John P. “Jack” Ellbogen established the Mary Ellbogen Garland Early Career Fellowship in 2000 in honor of his daughter’s commitment to community service and philanthropy.
In establishing the fellowship, Jack expressed hope that it would help the College of Education recruit and retain the best possible candidates to faculty positions. Income from the fund may be used to support one promising junior faculty members via supplementary salary or start-up funding for the recipients’ research and teaching programs.
