Where do I find the form for the Letters of Recommendation? - Top
The form for the Letters of Recommendation can be found on the Graduate School website:  http://uwadmnweb.uwyo.edu/UWGrad/forms&petitions.asp

When is the deadline for applying to the Master's degree in C&I? - Top
Our deadline (screening) dates are as follows:  October 1 for spring admission; February 1 for summer admission; and April 1 for fall admission.

Is the GRE required? - Top
We do not require GRE testing for our Master's degree.

How long do I have to complete the degree? - Top
All work on a master's degree must be completed within six (6) calendar years from the date of admission.

How many credits is the degree? - Top
A minimum of 30 semester hours is required.  all course work and degree requirements are approved by the student's graduate committee.

Can I take classes before I'm accepted into the program? - Top
Yes. Graduate School will allow up to 12 hours be transferred into a degree program.

Is the program online? - Top
No.  However many courses have online components and intensive weekends.

What application materials are required for the program? - Top
Three Letters of Recommendation

Transcripts reflecting most recent degree (3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale) from an accredited institution plus transcripts from all other schools attended

Letter of Intent describing career goals and reasons for pursuing a master's degre at the University of Wyoming

A TOEFL score of 525 (paper-based), 197 (computer exam) or above is required for international students.

Teaching certificate and one year K-12 teaching experience or equivalent is required.  In exceptional cases an approved teaching internship during the first semester of enrollment may be substituted for prior teaching.

Meeting minimal admissions criteria does NOT automatically insure admission to the program.

Do I have to come to Laramie to take classes? - Top
No.  Most of our classes are offered compressed video.  Some courses offer intensive weekends and online components.
