Teacher Selection

To be eligible to apply, teachers must:

  • currently be employed by a public or private high school in Wyoming.
  • be current residents of Wyoming.
  • be committed to participate fully and remain for the entire two weeks of the program.

The SER values diversity and seeks broad participation from across the state from schools of all sizes.

Application Process

Submit the following information to apply for the Energy Summer Institute.

  1. Complete the teacher application form.

  2. Write a letter of application addressing the reasons for wanting to participate in the Energy Institute.  In addition, discuss how you might incorporate the information you gain from the experience in your school.  Feel free to add any other information you see as relevant

  3. Mail your application form and letter of application to the following address.  Applications will be accepted until April 10, 2009 or until all openings are filled.  Admission letters will be mailed by the week of April 13, 2009.
