Biography
Rick Fisher currently teaches courses for the Department of English and directs Communication across the Curriculum (CxC), and he has previously directed the UW Writing Center. In addition to teaching undergraduate service courses, Rick also teaches survey courses in Composition and Writing Studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. His teaching often incorporates service learning, writing for public audiences, and assignments that encourage students to explore disciplinary identity.
