BIO: Julianne has taught in English at UW since 1998. An associate lecturer working mostly in Professional Writing and Composition, she recently relocated to Bellevue, Iowa and teaches courses via Outreach. Julianne is the author of the non-fiction book Jukeboxes & Jackalopes: A Wyoming Bar Journey (Pronghorn Press) and the photographic companion, from the Wyoming State Historical Society. Her energy travelogue, Traveling the Power Line: From the Mojave Desert to the Bay of Fundy, will be released in spring 2013 by the University of Nebraska press.
