The Governor's Forum on Environment and Natural Resources:  Learning to Build Agreement for Wyoming's Future

The Forum was held June 19-20, 2000 in Riverton, Wyoming with approximately 150 people in attendance and an opening presentation by Governor Jim Geringer.  Lively discussions provided a lot of insight into how the public can be involved in problem solving and decision making on environmental and natural resource issues.  People representing agriculture; local, state, and federal government; interest groups; education; and private business shared experiences with Coordinated Resource Management (CRM) projects, community forums, and other types of approaches for public involvement.
