Capstone Class

The Environment of Natural Resources (ENR) Program includes a capstone experience in its Environmental Assessments course. The culminating project for ENR students is to create an environmental assessment of a local or global environmental development. For example, in spring 2007 students in section one of the capstone class wrote an environmental assessment of impacts expected from a proposed pipeline designed to transport coalbed methane produced water from the Powder River Basin to the North Platte River.  Students in section two of the capstone course wrote an environmental assessment of impacts from a liquefied natural gas facility in Baja California, Mexico.
