Aeoloplides chenopodii (Bruner) [= Aeloplus c. (Bruner)]

Size: 13-23 mm.

General distribution: E. Utah, NE Arizona, W. Colorado, and NW New Mexico.

Distribution in New Mexico: Sandoval, San Juan.

Habitat: Grassland.

Host: Chenopodiaceae: Atriplex spp. (salt bush).

Adults Present: July-September.

Notes: Tegmina reduced to lateral pads. Not economically important.
