Amblytropidia mysteca (Saussure)

Size: 20-36 mm.

General distribution: Virginia to Arizona, S. to Costa Rica.

Distribution in New Mexico: Probably in SW corner.

Habitat: Grassy areas in open woods.

Host: Grass?

Adults Present: All year in Texas.

Notes: Dull tan; slant-faced; similar in shape to Amphitornus. Several color morphs known.
