Trachyrhachys coronata Scudder [= Mestobregma c. (Scudder)]


Size: 22-32 mm.

General distribution: Wyoming and Nebraska, S. to Durango, Mexico.

Distribution in New Mexico: Grant.

Habitat: Mountain grassland, gravelly hills.

Host: Unknown.

Adults Present: June-August.

Notes: Similar to T. aspera, but tegmina spotted, hind wing band central and without black distal marking on hind tibiae. Female often green. Not economically important.
