Trimerotropis inconspicua is primarily a grasshopper of the Great
Basin that can be found in the deserts of southwest Wyoming. It prefers
dry grassy areas with barren soil. It is common on gravelly ridges in the
Great Divide Basin. Adults were found in August and early September. Although
locally numerous, this grasshopper is not suspected of causing economic
damage to rangelands in Wyoming.
