Gordon is on a roll! His 2nd paper "Plant invasion has limited impact on soil microbial α-diversity: A meta-analysis" got published online in the Journal Diversity within the Special Issue of "Microbial Interactions with Invasive Plant Species".

June   Emily successfully defended her M.S. thesis in Soil Science "The critical role of soil microbiota to sustainable rangelands: Quantifying short-term microbial and vegetation responses to intensive grazing".    
May   Stephanie successfully defended her M.S. thesis in Soil Science"Linking soil ecology with the restoration of ponderosa pine forests following a high-severity wildfire in the Laramie Mountains of Wyoming".

October   Paul Ayayee joined the lab as a postdoctoral researcher.    
May   Zoe successfully defended his M.S. thesis in Soil Science "Influence of Loess and Cryopedogenesis in High-Alpine Soils on Microbial Activity and Function in the Snowy Range Mountains, Wyoming".
