Currently chair 3 MS graduate committees and serve as a member on 5 Ph.D. and 4 M.S. graduate committees.
Chair the department undergraduate curriculum committee and am member of the college curriculum committee.
Coordinate the Forest Resources minor program.
International Activities
Current international research activities are underway in Honduras (steepland soil and water conservation; agroforestry) and Kenya (rangeland management). Serve on several international committees dealing with sustainable natural resource management. Published field research conducted in Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Niger, Guinea, South Africa, Iceland, Pakistan, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Participated in work related project oversight and consulting in an additional 24 countries.
