Undergraduate Programs
We welcome you to our undergraduate programs. Browse through our website to find out more information on each of our programs.
Our undergraduate programs include Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management, Agroecology, and Earth System Science. Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management is our largest major and is accredited by the Society for Range Management. Agroecology is a joint major offered between the Departments of Plant Sciences and Ecosystem Science and Management. Earth System Science is an interdisciplinary degree offered by many departments across campus with our focus being on soil science. In addition, student may also get a affiliated degree in Environment and Natural Resources offered through the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources.
Students may also select a minor from our department in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management, Reclamation/Restoration Ecology, Forest Resources, Soil Science, and Insect Biology. Students electing a minor should meet with an advisor in that field.
Students in the department have started clubs that are open to every student on campus. These include the Range Club, Reclamation Outreach and Research (ROaR) Club, Soil and Water Conservation Society Student Chapter, and the Entomology Club.
