Rocky Mountain Festival of Winds

Dear Music Educator,

We invite you and your recommended finest musicians to be part of the 2012 Rocky Mountain Festival of Winds.  This three-day event in February, 2012, will include a range of experiences for your students, such as:

• Festival Symphonic Band comprised of Juniors and Seniors!
• Festival Concert Band comprised of Freshman and Sophomores!
• Festival Jazz Ensembles conducted by Dr. Mark Rabideau.
• Master Classes with UW Faculty
• Scholarship Auditions for students interested in attending UW
• Reading Session with UW Bands
• Chamber Music Sessions

In addition, students will have the opportunity to hear performances by high-caliber UW ensembles, including the UW Symphonic Band, UW Wind Symphony, and the Wyoming Jazz Ensemble with prominent pianist, Eric Reed as guest soloist!

The cost, including two meals and a ticket for the Wyoming Jazz Ensemble performance, is only $30.00 per student.  Attendees are responsible for their own lodging.  Registration Deadline: January 20, 2012!!!!  You will be invoiced for your student registrations upon successful completion of online registration!  Detailed registration instructions are included in this packet!
