Majors of Interest:
Any UW major. Among ENR students, popular concurrent majors include: botany, economics, geography, geology, international studies, political science, rangeland ecology and watershed management, wildlife biology/management, zoology.
FIG Description:
This FIG caters to a broad spectrum of interests because environmental and natural resources (ENR) issues affect us all. Students will develop an awareness of the complexity of ENR issues and their inherently interdisciplinary nature. Students will also cultivate an understanding of how their own education in a particular discipline can prepare them to make good decisions about ENR problems—whether as ENR professionals or just interested citizens.

LIFE 1010 - General Biology - 4 credits [SB]
Please Note: LIFE 1010 requires passing the math placement exam at level 2 or a minimum ACT math subscore of 21.
