FIG Description:

This FIG is designed for those students who are eligible to declare pre-nursing as their majors and are pursing the BSN degree. It will provide you with an opportunity to develop caring relationships with other nursing students and to stimulate each other intellectually and support each other socially. Living together in the same residence hall will make your transition to college exciting and fun. The School of Nursing faculty and the residence hall staff will focus on making your first year a success.

NURS 1000 - Introduction to the Intellectual Community in Nursing - 1 credit [I,L]
LIFE 1010 - General Biology (and lab) - 4 credits [SB]
CHEM 1000 - Introduction go Chemistry (and lab & discussion) - 4 credits [SP]
PSYC 1000 - General Psychology - 3 credits [CS]

Please Note: To declare the pre-nursing component of the Basic BSN, students must have a minimum math placement score of 3 or ACT math score of 23.
