FIG Description:
The question of what it means to “live sustainably” is one of the most important and complex of our time, especially in a world of limited resources. In this FIG, students will consider multiple dimensions of sustainability, including renewable energy, environmental science, and the cultural/social aspects of this important field. Students in the Fig will spend the week before the fall semester exploring the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, completing field-based environmental science labs.
