Criminal Justice: Investigate a World of Possibilities

Majors of Interest:

Criminal Justice

FIG Description:

Criminal Justice is an interdisciplinary field that studies the nature and operations of organizations providing justice services to society.  Students study the criminal justice system, its components, and the ways it deals with crime and processes criminals.  As a member of the Criminal Justice FIG, students explore relevant topics including theories of crime, criminal courts, government, and social behavior.  The FIG will also provide opportunities to form cohorts made up of peers with similar interests.  Our commitment is to provide a welcoming environment that allows new majors to look closely at a future in the criminal justice system.  All four FIG courses meet requirements for the major and the University Studies Program.
