The J.A. "Jack" and Pat Guthrie Conference Room is a large conference room capable of seating 18 around the conference table, with presentations and audio teleconferencing capabilities. It was named after Patricia and Jack Guthrie, who have long supported UW.
Patricia Guthrie is a former member of the UW Foundation Board, a former UW National Ambassadors volunteer, an emeritus member of the Art Museum National Advisory Board, and a steering committee and cabinet of DISTINCTION: The Campaign for Wyoming's University. She has supported the Art Museum and UW Libraries and established a professorship and campus beautification fund. She recieved the UW Art Museum National Advisory Board President's Award in 2008 to recognize her hard work and dedication in supporting the arts.
Jack Guthrie is a former chair of the UW Foundation Board and served as a cabinet member for Distinction: The Campaign for Wyoming's University. He was a director of the 1996 Centennial Campaign and president of the Alumni Association. In addition, he was a founding member of the Cowboy Joe Club and helped establish United Way of Albany County. In 1988, Jack received the College of Business Distinguished Service Award, and in 1887, he recieved the UW Distinguished Alumni Award.
