Foundation Resource Center 

The Foundation Resource Center at the University of Wyoming Foundation is a resource for faculty and staff for researching and approaching private foundations for funding. The FRC will also provide guidance in grant writing and processes. At the same time, the staff manages the reporting requirements of foundation funders. Additionally, in a similar manner to the UW Foundation's major gift officers' work, the staff of the FRC seeks out relationships with private foundations as well as faculty affiliated with UW Institutional Priorities.

A New Resource for Faculty and Staff

Goals for the Foundation Resource Center include:

• Engage and collaborate with UW's faculty and staff in an active fundraising role to make new and stronger relationships with external foundations,

• Assist in the creation and submission of more proposals, and

• Successfully secure private funding to enhance philanthropic support for the university's college, units, and departments and their fundraising priorities.
