How to install wallpapers on your computer

 
1) Determine your monitor’s screen resolution (choose one of the following but then cancel so you don’t change your settings).

  • You can right-click in a blank open area of your screen and then click Screen Resolution (Windows 7).
  • Click your Start button, then Control Panel, and under Appearance and Personalization select Adjust Screen Resolution (Windows 7).
  • Click your Start button, then Control Panel, and under Appearance and Personalization select Display Settings (Windows Vista).
  • Click your Start button, then Control Panel, and select Display (Windows XP).
  • On the Apple menu, click Displays (Mac).
  • On the menu bar, press the monitor icon (Mac).

 2) Save the correct image to your computer (choose one of the following).

  • Click and drag the appropriate link onto your desktop.
  • For Windows, right-click on appropriate link. For Mac, press and hold the mouse button to see the menu.
  • Click Save Target As or Save Picture As or Save Image As.
  • Choose the location, rename if you’d like, and then click Save or Open.

 3) Set the image as your wallpaper (choose one of the following).

  • You can right-click in a blank open area of your screen, click Personalize and Desktop Background, and then browse for the picture you downloaded (Windows 7).
  • Click your Start button, then Control Panel, and under Appearance and Personalization select click Personalization and Desktop Background, and then browse for the picture you downloaded (Windows 7).
  • Click your Start button, then Control Panel, and under Appearance and Personalization select Personalization and Desktop Background, and then browse for the picture you downloaded (Windows Vista and XP).
  • On the Apple menu, click System Preferences, Desktop and Screen Saver, Desktop, and then browse for the picture you downloaded (Mac).
  • On the menu bar, press the monitor icon (Mac).
