Happy First Day of School! – Though this semester already looks different than many of us planned, we are so happy each of you are continuing in your educational and personal development this fall. Please know that our office is always available to offer support for our community members. We wish you all good luck on your first week back in classes!
Formal Sorority Recruitment – Recruitment for our four NPC chapters will be held virtually September 10-14th. Direct interested parties to the FSL website to sign up. Questions about recruitment can be sent to cphrec@uwyo.edu. Associate chapter recruitment will begin September 14th.
IFC Recruitment – All recruitment activities will be held online until further approval according to FSL, RSO and University policies. Join for the virtual bingo sessions on 8/27 and 9/3 at 7PM to connect with interested students and chapters! The chapter builder link is up and running on the FSL website! Please use the attached flier to market on chapter platforms.
IFC and CPH meetings – Delegate meetings resume this week.
ASUW Liaison Positions – CPH and IFC are both looking to fill their ASUW Liaison positions for their councils. If you are interested or know of someone that is, please fill out the attached form(s) and email to FSL@uwyo.edu ASAP.
September Advisors & Presidents Meeting – We will have our first meeting of the semester Tuesday, September 1st at 6:00pm, via the Zoom invitation sent in a pending email.
Phased Re-Opening – Phase 1 (Now-September 4th) and Phase 2 (September 5th - September 27th): Live-in members of chapter facilities are the only ones utilizing the facility at this time. This means that live-out members should not be at the chapter facilities for any reason, including meals and chapter and exec council meetings. Chapter members without housing facilities should not be on campus unless they have been included in Phases 1 or 2. Phase 3 (starting September 28th) allows all chapter members on campus and in chapter facilities. Questions about the phased re-opening can be sent to fsl@uwyo.edu.
Reducing Spread – Masks, physical distancing, and handwashing/hand-sanitizing are the key to reducing the spread of this virus. Practicing these things now will increase the likelihood of in-person events actually taking place (including CPH bid day, philanthropy events, social events, etc). PLEASE do your part to wear your mask in ANY public setting, on or off-campus, wash your hands regularly, and maintain physical distance of 6ft or more between people you are not regularly with.
