UW First-Year Student Guidebook

In addition to the lesson plans and guides below, a great resource for your classes is the First-Year Student Guidebook, Making College Count. This can be used in its entirety or simply used for various lessons.

  1. Order the guide as a course packet for your students to purchase through the University Bookstore (only $4 per booklet).
  2. Ask students to access web content for class discussion, presentations on transition skills, etc. URL:  https://www.uwyo.edu/fye/making-college-count/index.html
  3. Access the guide through WyoCourses modules that contain assignments (which can be downloaded into your existing course shell). Instructions for accessing the Making College Count course shell.
