Come join us at FYI! on September 18-20!
First-year students participating in FYI! will take part in several activities, providing them opportunities to grow as student leaders. These activitieswill help educate the participants on how to become involved on campusduring their time at UW. In addition, FYI! is an excellent opportunity for participants at UW who want to make a difference on campus, and to get to know other first-year students.
The First-Year Institute occurs annually in September at the UW Recreation Camp. This experience is free for all participants and is sponsored by the Department of Residence Life and Dining Services, Wyoming Union, Dean of Students office, and the Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement (SLCE).
The Student Leadership and Civic Engagement (SLCE) office annually offers the First-Year Institute (FYI!), a leadership development program for students in their first year at the University of Wyoming. FYI! is a program that offers an intense threeday and two-night leadership development experience at the UW Recreation Camp (near Centennial, WY) for up to 40 incoming students.
