Support UW in Scotland

11-abbotsford.jpg

UW in Scotland was founded through generous support from the Wyoming community:

Founding donors: Hilery Lindmier of the Laura Jane Musser Fund and Naoma J. Tate.

The university provided start-up for faculty participation:

University partners: Wyoming Institute for Humanities Research, Office of Research and Economic Development, College of Arts and Sciences, and Global Engagement Office.

Fundraising Goals:

STUDENT INTERNSHIPS that allow students to follow their UW in Scotland experience with individual experience in a major Scottish venue or institute (e.g. working with the heritage gardeners at Abbotsford, or in a major Edinburgh gallery).

FACULTY TRAVEL FUNDING that allows members of the UW in Scotland faculty cohort to develop research and teaching partnerships with Scottish colleagues, and allows colleagues in Scotland to visit UW.

DISCRETIONARY/EXCELLENCE FUNDING that allows UW in Scotland to take advantage of unpredictable opportunities for program development on behalf of UW and the State.
