Undergraduate Program

November 5 – Please note that on November 1^st, 2018, the UW Provost’s Office released a proposal to reorganize, consolidate and reduce academic programs in geography at the University of Wyoming. Information about this proposal may be found at: http://www.uwyo.edu/acadaffairs/plans/reorganization/geography/ which includes a form to provide comment. As a consequence of this proposal being released, enrollment in all existing Geography Department degree programs, minors and certificates - with the exception of the Geography undergraduate minor – are suspended until further notice. Human Geography (BA)
Physical Geography (BS)
Geographic Information Science (BS)
Natural Resource Management (BA)
Planning (BS)

The Department of Geography participates in the interdisciplinary Earth System Science (ESS) program, in which students take courses in both Geography and ESS to earn a BS in Earth System Science with concentration in Geography.
